Community Updates

Target Gift Card: Congratulations to Estela Martinez , the winner of the $25.00 Target Gift Card.  Estela, please stop by the management office to collect your prize. All residents participating in automatic rent payment will have a chance to win a $25.00 Target Gift Card.

Mother & Father's Day brunch: The management team would like to express their gratitude to all the residents who attended our Mother & Father's Day brunch. It was wonderful to see everyone come together and celebrate these special occasions. Thank you for making it a memorable event!

Flowers: We are excited to announce that beautiful flowers have been planted throughout the apartment community, adding a vibrant touch to our surroundings. These colorful blooms will enhance the aesthetics of our outdoor spaces and create a welcoming atmosphere for all residents to enjoy.

Farmers Market Coupons: Farmers market coupons will be delivered to the management office during the week of July 12th. Please ensure that you sign up at the management office if you would like to receive the coupons. They will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Once we run out of the allocated coupons, we will be unable to provide any further ones. In such cases, you may contact the council on aging to inquire about their availability.

  • Mattress Removals: Effective November 1, 2022, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) has implemented a ban on the disposal of mattresses. As a result, the trash company will no longer collect or remove mattresses or box springs from the property.

We kindly inform all residents that it is no longer permissible to leave mattresses or box springs on the property. If you need to dispose of your mattress, please contact Somerville City Hall to inquire about proper disposal methods. Alternatively, when purchasing a new mattress, you can ask the furniture store if they offer a hauling service for old mattresses. Many stores provide this service for their customers.

Please note that any resident found placing a mattress on the property will be required to bring it back to their unit or arrange for someone to pick it up and dispose of it appropriately. Let's ensure we comply with the new regulations and dispose of mattresses responsibly.

Tech Tips: Five tips for safe social media practices

1. Be Selective with Friend Requests: Only accept friend requests from people you know and trust. Avoid adding unknown individuals or accounts that appear suspicious.

2. Limit Personal Information: Be cautious about sharing personal information on social media platforms. Avoid posting sensitive details such as your full address, phone number, or financial information. Keep your privacy settings updated to control who can see your posts and personal information.

3. Think Before You Share: Before posting anything on social media, consider the potential impact and who can see it. Be mindful of sharing vacation plans, upcoming events, or information that could compromise your security or privacy.

4. Report Suspicious Activity: If you come across suspicious accounts or encounter any form of harassment, spam, or inappropriate content, report it to the social media platform. Reporting such activity helps maintain a safer online community.

5. Stay Aware of Privacy Settings: Familiarize yourself with the privacy settings offered by the social media platforms you use. Regularly review and update these settings to ensure they align with your desired level of privacy and security.
